So here's the deal.
Over the last week everyone in my life has been effected by everything from something as minor as sporting events to graduations, to sudden thunderstorms that spawned tornadoes. While they may be common in other areas of the country it was cause for serious concern for an unprepared state. Massachusetts hasn't seen a tornadoes in over a decade, let alone three that ended up tearing up parts of the state. There are efforts to clean up the areas and help the victims get back on their feet. If you feel the need to help please do. There are several local shops holding food drives and accepting monetary donations for the victims. In addition, the Red Cross is always a wonderful place to donate blood, money, or volunteer your time.
That being said, later on in the week, my -little- sister just graduated from high school! I'm so proud of her. It was just two days after the tornadoes and cause for great joy in my house. She's a bright girl, with an amazing future. She's headed to New England College in the fall for Environmental Management and i couldn't be a prouder big sister.
Sadly the next day, my good friend over Steve at Crazy as a Nebokoodneezer's father passed on. He seems to be holding together well enough, but my thoughts and prayers are still with him.
So... Tonight we get back on track. Tonight I'll be posting a response to The First Snowfall at Goggles and Lace.
